The home includes a stunning entryway, featuring black-and-white checkered floors, white paneled walls, and high ceilings. A plush neutral-toned bench adds warmth, while sleek lighting fixtures and built-in shelves enhance the refined aesthetic.

The space seamlessly blends classic and contemporary elements, creating a welcoming yet polished ambiance. The sale comes less than a year after the home was originally listed for $29.99 million in May 2024.

In October, the asking price was reduced to $24.9 million before the final deal was made to a buyer that was unknown at the time of writing.

The sprawling 8,000-square-foot residence sits on two-thirds of an acre and was originally built in the 1950s. It underwent significant renovations around 2009, blending mid-century architecture with modern design.

A social media post showed the home’s kitchen, featuring white cabinetry with glass-paneled doors, marble countertops, and a built-in coffee station. Open shelving and neatly organized dishware enhance the warm yet sophisticated aesthetic.

The black-and-white flooring adds a classic touch, while the overall design blends modern convenience with timeless charm. The spacious kitchen is also outfitted with double cooktops and a wood-burning oven.

The single-story home also has a one-bedroom guesthouse with a wine cellar, office, gym, game room, and movie theater. To add to the cozy feel of the home, Instagram posts reveal beautiful fireplaces on the property.

One fireplace has a rustic and cozy aesthetic, featuring a herringbone brick interior and a wood mantel that complements the white-paneled walls. The warm glow of the fire adds to the inviting ambiance.

Surrounding the fireplace were built-in shelves filled with books, decorative items, and several guitars, creating a space that feels both stylish and personal.

In 2018, Paltrow’s husband, producer and writer Brad Falchuk, gave fans another sneak peek of their gorgeous home as he shared a snap of the pair sharing a kiss and showed off their dining area.

The space includes a wooden table perfect for intimate gatherings, paired with an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary chairs. The ambiance is welcoming, with earthy tones, subtle lighting, and a relaxed yet refined feel.

Privacy is a major draw for the property. Lea Porter of the Beverly Hills Estate, Paltrow’s listing agent, emphasized that the area’s tall hedges and old-growth trees provide a secluded, peaceful environment.

Paltrow originally purchased the home in 2012 for $9.95 million with her then-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Following their divorce, she remained in the house with their children, Apple and Moses.

However, after her marriage to Falchuk in 2018, he and his two children also moved into the home, making it a blended family retreat. Social media posts further highlighted the home’s charm, showcasing an exterior just as inviting as its interior.

One post revealed a charming, traditional-style house with a gabled roof and a brick chimney. Large windows allow for plenty of natural light, while the covered porch area adds to its inviting feel. The lush landscaping and mature trees surrounding the home enhance its warm, private atmosphere.

Porter previously explained that the decision to sell stemmed from Paltrow’s desire to downsize, noting that her children were growing up. The actress reportedly listed the property in the same month that Moses graduated from high school.

However, as news of the sale spread, social media users had plenty to say. “Whoever bought it paid way tooooo much,” one person commented. Another wrote“She should be donating at least a million dollars to the wildfires.”

A third social media user shared, “Overpriced boxes,” while another typed, “That’s what I make in 280 years.” Another person remarked, “Lucky her. Must be nice to be one of God’s favorites. If only He cared and blessed us all like that.”

Gwyneth Paltrow’s decision to sell marks the end of an era in her Brentwood home. As she moves on to a new chapter, the sale leaves behind a home that perfectly reflected her signature style and taste, with its stunning design and luxurious features.
