As news of Michelle Trachtenberg’s passing spreads, her “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” castmates are honoring her memory on social media, reflecting on her sharp wit, undeniable talent, and the impact she had on those who worked alongside her.

James Marsters, who played Spike in the 1997 series, expressed his grief on Instagram, calling Trachtenberg a “beautiful soul” and praising her intelligence and humor. “She died much too young, and leaves behind scores of people who knew and loved her,” he wrote, extending condolences to her family and asking for privacy during their time of mourning.

Alyson Hannigan, known for her role as Willow Rosenberg, reflected on Trachtenberg’s presence on set. “She brought a loving energy to the set of Buffy,” she remarked on the same platform. David Boreanaz, who portrayed Angel, shared a brief but heartfelt message on Instagram Story, calling the news “very sad” and “horrible.”

Emma Caulfield, who played Anya Jenkins, described Trachtenberg as a”bright light” and the “little sister” of their “Buffy” family in an emotional Instagram Story. “Rest in peace, lovely Mish Mish. You were loved,” she wrote. In a follow-up post, she simply added, “Sleep well, Michelle.”
