Simon Cowell was left shocked on Britain’s Got Talent when a contestant sealed his mouth with tape during her enigmatic performance.
On the upcoming episode airing on Saturday, 5th April, viewers will witness the 64 year old music mogul become an integral part of a magician’s act.
A preview clip has surfaced showing judges Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli, and Alesha Dixon alongside Simon, all appearing bewildered as magician Alexandra enters the stage, her mouth bound by tape.
Curious about the silent act, Alesha inquires, “Hello, how are you? Do you speak?” leading to laughter when Alexandra gestures to her taped mouth. Alesha prompts, “Alright, let’s do it.”

Without hesitation, Alexandra retrieves a strip of tape and daringly approaches the judges, opting to silence Simon as part of her trick, which astonishes him and causes the audience and fellow judges to erupt in excitement, reports the Express.
The magician’s performance on Saturdays show will hinge on choices made by both Simon and members of the audience for the grand finale.
This episode’s buzz builds amid comments from ex-Britain’s Got Talent judge and comedian David Walliams, who didn’t hold back on a biting remark regarding Simon while participating at Advertising Week Europe 2025.
Walliams, age 53 and known for Little Britain, took the stage for the event where he spoke, accompanied by his comedic partner Matt Lucas.

While speaking at the event, David made a jest about clinching the Best TV Judge title at the National Television Awards for four consecutive years, a feat Simon, aged 65, has never achieved.
Melanie queried: “David Walliams, you were a judge on Britain’s Got Talent for a decade and won best judge at the national TV Awards four times.”
